People on The Move at: Berkadia, AEW Capital, KS Partners, and JM Electrical

Boston — Berkadia has added to its multifamily investment team with its recent hire of Nick Jasinski to their High Street office. As a director, Jasinski will focus on private capital and middle-market multi-housing investment sales across New England. Prior to Berkadia, he was a Senior Associate at United Multi Family. His exposure to commercial transactions began as a Portfolio Manager at M&T Bank in Boston.

“We’re thrilled to announce the addition of Nick Jasinski to our team. Nick will focus on growing our team’s private capital business around Greater Boston. Over the past two years, he has built a book of business that aligns with Berkadia’s long-term strategic plan of growing both the team’s geographical and deal size presence, while providing the same ‘institutional approach’,” said Berkadia Managing Director Adam Dunn.

AEW Capital Management, L.P. (AEW), recently announced the appointment of Dean Dulchinos as Head of Debt Portfolio Management, with oversight responsibilities for AEW’s dedicated U.S. debt investment strategies and vehicles.

With more than two decades of industry experience, Dean joins AEW from Amherst Holdings, where he served as Head of SFR Portfolio Management. “AEW has a long history of debt investing in diversified strategies, and this strengthened investment team will help us better serve the needs of our growing debt investor base,” said Mike Byrne, AEW’s Chief Investment Officer, North America. “Dean brings a wealth of experience building and managing global commercial real estate debt platforms for a wide range of investors, including many of the world’s leading insurers and pension funds. His addition to AEW’s debt team will be instrumental as we continue to expand our lending reach.”

KS Partners is positioning itself to add more life science properties to its investment portfolio with the recent promotion of Todd Greenfield to Senior Vice President and Director of Development at KS. Greenfield will continue to oversee all capital projects throughout the company which owns and manages approximately 5mil sqft of commercial properties throughout New England. Greenfield’s focus will be on the company’s life science projects that include proposed ground-up developments of R&D labs, along with numerous office-to-lab conversion projects, in addition to a number of proposed cGMP developments.

JM Electrical Announced that Julian Crampton has been promoted to Preconstruction & BIM Coordinator at the Lynnfield, MA-based commercial electrical contracting company. In his role, Campton will work closely with the JME team both at headquarters and in the field to plan for installations in advance of onsite work. He will also lead the company’s Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategy, utilizing the latest tools for field coordination.

According to Adam Palmer, JMEs Project Executive and Director of Operations, in his new position, Crampton will help JME remain a competitive industry leader. “Julian contributes to projects in ways that support the JME team and benefit our clients which include many of the major commercial development in the Greater Boston area. He is detail-oriented, a creative problem solver, and a respected colleague. Julian is deserving of this promotion and our thanks,” said Adam Palmer.
