Eastern RE Beefs Up Team: Continues To Acquire and Reposition Assets Throughout U.S.

BOSTON — Eastern Real Estate, the Boston-based investment, development, and asset management firm, announced several key appointments to its team designed to support the firm’s expanding investment strategy.

“In response to our recent investment activities and near-term opportunities, Eastern is growing its team in several key areas,” said Daniel Doherty, co-founder and Principal of Eastern Real Estate. “We are adding a number of new positions, each will play an important role as we continue to acquire and reposition real estate projects across the country. The past year has had a significant impact on many assets which has led to distinct value creation opportunities for our entrepreneurially focused team.”

Eastern announced the following appointments:

  • Dan Sullivan is promoted to Managing Director – Development. Dan is involved in all aspects of real estate development for Eastern, including overseeing site selection, feasibility analysis, entitlements, leasing, and construction management.
  • Mark Lester is named Director of Investor Relations. His responsibilities include investor communications management and collaborative support of Eastern Real Estate’s fundraising, investor/partner relationship development, and account management. He also serves as Managing Director of Eastern Investment Company LLC.
  • Sam Campbell has joined Eastern Real Estate as an Associate primarily responsible for assisting in all aspects of acquisitions, development, and asset management. He will work directly with senior management on the underwriting, diligence, and execution of new investment opportunities.
  • Karen Marinella Hall has been appointed Director of Communications at Eastern Real Estate, responsible for internal and external communications. Karen serves as Eastern’s media spokesperson and works closely with senior management on strategic communication planning and public relations.
