ABG Sells 5-Story Commercial Building In Somerville for $20M

561 Windsor Street, Somerville MA

BOSTON—Bernard Gibbons and Justin Pepple of ABG Commercial Realty recently brokered the sale of 561 Windsor Street in Somerville for $20M. The property was purchased by RPI 561 Windsor, LLC (Riverside Properties) from Millers River Realty Trust.

With 83,224-sf of commercial space on 5 floors, 561 Windsor Street accommodates a variety of tenants from software companies to manufacturers. The longtime home of the famed Taza Chocolate Company as well as EH Chocolatier, a specialty chocolate shop, it also houses Tulip Software, a creator of manufacturing app software. The property’s strategic location in the Boynton Yards section of Somerville adjacent to the new Union Square Green line T-Station scheduled to open in 2020 contributed to the success of the sale.
