Govoni and Hamilton Promoted at Northstar Real Estate Services

Cambridge — Northstar, a real estate services firm providing project management, development management, and advisory services, has announced that Daniel Govoni and Lisa Hamilton have been promoted to Associate Principal.

Govini joined Northstar in 2012 and has more than 15 years of senior-level project management experience across the full spectrum of project delivery, from due diligence and permitting through design, construction, and closeout. His diverse portfolio spans a broad range of sectors, including life sciences, residential, commercial, higher education, institutional, utility, and mixed-use developments, with an aggregate value exceeding $1.7B. He is currently supporting a research university endowment fund in Cambridge on a ground-up life science and office development in Kendall Square and leading work on behalf of TransMedics on its new headquarters facility in Somerville.

Prior to joining Northstar, Govoni held project management roles within the construction industry. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Roger Williams University.

Lisa Hamilton joined Northstar in 2011 and has 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, leading projects and programs scaling over $400M and 3M SF. She is involved in all phases of the project lifecycle, with expertise in strategic planning, master budgeting, annual capital planning, large-scale team assembly, program governance, and design and construction administration.

Her portfolio includes projects in the commercial, residential, higher education, institutional, and life sciences sectors, with an aggregate volume exceeding $1.5B. Hamilton currently leads a building repositioning initiative in Cambridge on behalf of Clarion Partners and manages an interior fit-out of 220,000 SF of commercial office space for a global software solutions company. She previously managed the 500,000 SF Phase I development at Assembly Innovation Park in Somerville on behalf of BioMed Realty.

Prior to joining Northstar, Hamilton held positions as Resident Engineer and Civil Engineer at PEER Consultants P.C. and CDM Smith. She earned her MBA from the University of Rhode Island and her BS in Civil Engineering from Roger Williams University.
