A.W. Perry Fills Up Retail At Hub’s 77-91 Franklin St.

BOSTON — A diverse quartet of retail tenants signing on at 77-91 Franklin St. has brought the retail space there to full occupancy, Perry Brokerage Associates announced this week in a press release. The group represented landlord A.W. Perry in the 9,775-sf of commitments that were secured in the conglomeration of buildings straddling the Financial District and Downtown Crossing. “We are pleased that four great tenants have chosen 77-91 Franklin as their new business location,” A.W. Perry VP and Property Manager Kerri Gallaway says in the release. Adds Gallaway: “Each of these tenants offers products and/or services which will be an excellent benefit to businesses and residents of downtown Boston.” Hungry denizens of the district will be able to secure repast from Lulu’s Cupcakes in the kiosk that runs on Winthrop Lane outside the property, while Boston News Café signed a lease for 1,165 sf in space at 77 Franklin St., a/k/a 80 Arch St. The larger of the transactions occurred at 85 and 91 Franklin St. by RMS Residential Mortgage Services and Sports and Physical Therapy Associates, deals exceeding 8,600 sf. Besides the retail space, 77-91 Franklin St. offers tenants on-site management, a 24-hour lobby attendant and quick access to the region’s entire subway system. Perry Brokerage Associates President Rich Beal represented the landlord in the four retail signings that also utilized outside brokerage professionals to land the tenants. CRE Brokerage principal Joseph Levanto was joined by Dan Cavanaugh of Jones Lang LaSalle and Dan Sullivan of Cresa Partners in representing a tenant in the latest surge of deal consummations.
