15-Year-Old Buys Danvers Investment Property

October 21, 2026
72 Holten Street, Danvers, Massachusetts

DANVERS — A Danvers mixed-use property has changed hands in a deal notable not only for its financing structure, but also for the age of the buyer.

The $850,000 sale of 72 Holten St. closed with seller financing covering $750,000 of the purchase price, leaving the buyer to contribute $100,000 in cash and retain capital for planned improvements. The property includes a two-family residence, a commercial garage, and 10 parking spaces near downtown Danvers.

The buyer, 15-year-old Christopher D’Apice, acquired the property through a family trust and plans to invest in renovations to increase rental income and long-term value. Immediate improvements are expected to include a new roof, replacement windows, and completion of interior renovations already underway.

The transaction was brokered by Brian D’Apice of The Mega Group, with legal representation provided by Sears Law Office for the seller and Barrett Kornitsky LLP for the buyer.
