TA Realty Announces Two Promotions, One New Hire: Leckband, Fisher and Ruhmann

TA Realty LLC, a provider of real estate investment management services to institutional and private investors, is pleased to announce the promotions of Kendrick Leckband to Partner and Patrick Fisher to Vice President, and the hire of Sean Ruhmann as Partner and Portfolio Manager

Ms. Leckband, who joined TA Realty in 2007 and is based out of the firm’s Newport Bach office, has played an integral role in the firm’s Asset Management Group and has emerged as a leader in the West Coast office. In addition to her asset management responsibilities in Orange County and Inland Empire markets, Kendrick also serves as co-Portfolio Manager for two of TA Realty’s customized separate accounts. Prior to joining TA Realty, Ms. Leckband was a Market Representative at ProLogis, where she was responsible for the leasing and operations of industrial assets in Los Angeles and Orange County. Previously, she was a Property Manager at Lincoln Property Company Commercial, Inc., in Dallas, Texas. Ms. Leckband graduated from the University of Texas, Austin with a Bachelor of Science and received a Master’s of Business Administration from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.

Mr. Fisher, who joined TA Realty in 2011 and is based out of the firm’s Boston Headquarters, has been instrumental in helping to lead the Investor Accounting Group by serving as an experienced and skilled Fund Controller involved with two of TA Realty’s largest commingled funds and a large, highly-structured separate account. Mr. Fisher previously was an Assistant Vice President of Finance at NewStar Financial, Inc., where he was responsible for accounting and compliance for a variety of complex commercial lending transactions. Prior to that, he was an Audit Manager and Certified Public Accountant with KPMG, where he oversaw a variety of financial statement audits in the banking and real estate industries. He received a B.S. in Accounting from Clemson University.

Prior to joining TA Realty, Mr. Ruhmann was a partner and director of private markets research at investment consulting firm NEPC, LLC, where he led the firm’s real estate and real assets research group. In this capacity, he managed a 14-person team responsible for developing market viewpoints and constructing client portfolios. With more than a decade of investment experience in research and portfolio management, Mr. Ruhmann brings to TA Realty an intimate understanding of real estate markets and asset classes, a highly analytical investment approach and a track record of exceptional client service. He will leverage this experience to evaluate investment opportunities that generate attractive risk-adjusted returns.
