BOSTON–City Realty Group (CRG), a community-focused real estate development company serving the Greater Boston area announce the promotion of Reema Shrestha to Executive Vice President. In her new position, Shrestha will spearhead closings in acquisitions, dispositions and refinancing. Employed at CRG since 2006, Shrestha has steadily earned more and more responsibility at the firm.

“Reema has been a valuable member of our team for more than a decade and will have an even greater impact on our success moving forward,” said CRG Managing Partner Stephen Whalen. “Reema has extraordinary skills and work ethic and has met every challenge at CRG. She has absolutely earned it and we are proud to elevate her to a key management position within our company.”

Born in Nepal, Shrestha arrived in the U.S. during 2005 and was hired at CRG the following year as a Front Desk Associate. She simultaneously attended Northeastern University, graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration & Management. CRG sponsored Shrestha in her efforts to obtain a work visa, a very difficult and expensive process. Shrestha went on to succeed in various positions at CRG, moving up the ladder before earning her new position as Executive Vice President.

“I have been with this company for more than a decade and have seen it evolve every year,” said Shrestha. “CRG has promoted a culture of professional growth and workplace friendliness, both of which are hard to come by. Furthermore, CG also gives back to the community in a multitude of ways such as our own nonprofit, City Kids, and other mediums. I have worked with many people I greatly respect and admire and look forward to our continued professional relationships in the future.”
