King Street Leases Additional 61K SF to Voyager Hayden at Research

November 02, 2023
75 Hayden Avenue, Lexington MA

LEXINGTON — King Street Properties, one of the largest privately held and owned life science real estate firms in Greater Boston, recently inked an additional 61,307 square feet to Voyager Therapeutics, at 75 Hayden Avenue. The transaction will bring Voyager’s total footprint to 93,449 square feet at the Hayden Research Campus in Lexington, Massachusetts.

“King Street is excited that Voyager has chosen to expand their space with us,” said Chris Rouches, Managing Director and Head of Asset Management at King Street Properties. “Voyager is one of several leading life science organizations residing at the Hayden Research Campus, which offers robust lab space along with a wealth of tenant amenities in close proximity to Cambridge and Boston. King Street values our relationship with Voyager, and we’re happy we are able to accommodate their needs.”

Hayden Research Campus is at the epicenter of Greater Boston’s core suburban life science cluster and is owned by King Street and Healthpeak Properties, a leading healthcare REIT. Lexington is part of the Massachusetts ‘Super Cluster,’ and the Hayden Research Campus plays an integral role as host to several drug development companies.

“We appreciate King Street’s support in securing this expanded lease, which will enable Voyager to consolidate our multiple offices into a single office at the Lexington location,” said Robin Swartz, Chief Operating Officer for Voyager.

The campus features a wealth of tenant amenities, including a full-service cafeteria, a separate full-service café, outdoor seating areas with a fire pit, a fully equipped fitness center with lockers and showers, indoor bike storage, and abundant surface parking in addition to two covered parking garages.

Jon Varholak, Eric Smith, Perry Beal, and Alex Plaisted with CBRE represented Voyager in the transaction.
