Hunneman’s David Campbell Completes over 46,000 SF of Lease Transactions for Mirick O’Connell

BOSTON – Hunneman just announced the completion of two long-term lease renewals; 33,416 SF lease at 100 Front Street, Worcester and 13,164 SF lease at 1800 West Park Drive, Westborough, on behalf of client Mirick O’Connell. Hunneman’s Executive Vice President, David Campbell represented long-time client Mirick O’Connell, while Jim Umphrey and Will Kelleher of Kelleher & Sadowsky represented the landlord, Franklin Realty Advisors at 100 Front Street and Bob McGuire and Alison Powers of Jones Lang Lasalle represented the landlord, Carruth Capital at 1800 West Park Drive.

Since 1917, Mirick O’Connell has served the Worcester community and has occupied space at 100 Front Street beginning in the early 1970’s. The firm has renewed its lease, continuing to occupy space on the 16th, 17th and 18th floors of the twenty-story office building in the heart of downtown Worcester. Over the past several years, Worcester, in particular the downtown area, has been re-energized with new developments that have been adding more attractions to the area. The most noteworthy is a brand-new baseball stadium built for the Red Sox’ AAA affiliate the “WooSox”, which will begin playing on the field this spring.

For the Westborough office, Hunneman worked closely with the firm on an extensive search and evaluation of multiple options in the market. In the end, Mirick O’Connell chose to renew its lease at 1800 West Park Drive in Westborough, determining it to be the best option to fit their needs for a satellite office location. The four-story, 111,654 SF office building is located within the Westborough Office Park and offers multiple cafes, a fitness area, walking trails and easy access to Routes I-495 and I-90.
