Unibank Names Kelley to VP; Commercial RE Banking Officer

WHITINSVILLE–Robert E. Paulsen, Jr., SVP and Senior Lending Officer of UniBank, recently announced that John S. Kelley has joined the bank as Vice President and Senior Commercial Banking Officer. In this role, Kelley is responsible for business development and relationship management, with a focus on Commercial Real Estate Finance, including investment and owner-occupied properties.

Kelley has over 40 years of experience in commercial banking. He was most recently Chief Lending Officer and Senior Vice President at Bank of New England in New Hampshire, and SVP and Managing Director of CRE lending at Commerce Bank in Worcester. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from American International College. He has been an instructor and guest lecturer at numerous colleges including University of Connecticut, Western New England University, and Wentworth Institute of Technology. He is also a singer/blues musician and an author.

He has been active with many charitable organizations including Toys for Tots, EasterSeals, and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. He is also a past member of the Board of Trustees at Mechanics Hall. Kelley is a resident of Worcester.
