The Davis Cos. Looks to Expand Multifamily Portfolio; Hires Industry Vet Rachel Edwards

BOSTON–The Davis Companies, the Boston-based real estate investment and development firm, announced the hiring of Rachel Edwards as Vice President of Investments. In this role, Edwards will be responsible for expanding Davis’ existing multifamily investment business, targeting opportunities in the Eastern U.S. with particular focus on Greater Boston and the Northeast. Edwards was formerly with the Winn Companies as VP of Acquisitions.

Edwards has deep ties to the Boston real estate community through the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, with the Real Estate Finance Association. According to a release, Edwards looks to play a key role in pursuing value-add, opportunistic and Opportunity Zone transactions.

The Davis Companies currently owns a real estate portfolio of approximately 12 million square feet of office, multifamily, retail, hospitality, light industrial, healthcare and life science properties across the Eastern United States.
