Nashville-Based Matthews Expands into Boston; Appoints Jasinski to Launch Multifamily Team

Boston — In a nationwide expansion strategy, Nashville-based Matthews Real Estate Investment Services has planted its flag in Boston soil, hiring its first Hub appointment to the firm’s team with the enlistment of prominent multifamily agent Nick Jasinski as its Boston office Vice President. Jasinski will spearhead the company’s expansion into Massachusetts as the firm continues its Northeast growth.
“I’m very excited and honored for the opportunity to help build the Matthews brand in Greater Boston… their culture is focused on old school brokerage fundamentals and outworking the competition, which I feel aligns well with my principles,” confirmed the multifamily specialist, Jasinski, who recently departed Berkadia Boston’s Multifamily investment group.
Matthews has rapidly grown over the past decade, adding over 600 real estate professionals to the firm’s services teams. Founded in El Segundo, CA, with 25+ offices across the United States, the company continues to expand into new markets despite the industry’s challenging times.
“Boston is a very important market for our [growth] strategy. It’s an international city with strong fundamentals, and it’s a very loyal and resilient market, which is why we think Nick is in a good position,” affirmed Cory Rosenthal, National Director of Multifamily & Market leader for Matthews.
Rosenthal says Matthews relies on and excels with the talent of locally grown real estate professionals, knowing the lay of the land, and entrusting them with its growth and success, particularly when advancing into new markets. “We have a very good centralized system, we have premium technology, and we do a great job creating a relationship environment, but our agents are our talent, so we get out of their way but help them succeed.”
Jasinski most recently specialized in the advisory of multifamily dispositions and acquisitions across New England. He has managed transactions for private capital, middle market, and high-net-worth investors, as well as developers. “Matthews has hyper-specializations allowing an agent like me to focus on private capital to middle-market multifamily deals, where I have spent my career. With these resources, I’m eager to show my clients what will be possible working with the Matthews team,” declared Jasinski.
Rosenthal said Matthews is patient in finding the right people to plant its flag in large markets, and then they take an aggressive approach to growth. “Finding someone local and loyal to the community is what we do so we’re thrilled to have Nick join our firm … his addition is vital as we establish our footprint in Boston, marking a pivotal moment as our first multifamily agent in the area and further solidifying our commitment to growth and excellence,” confirmed Rosenthal.
