SHREWSBURY–Grossman Development Group has completed leasing Lakeway Commons. Howard Grossman, GDG President & Managing Principal, elaborated on the success of the establishment. “After years of hard work, tremendous local support and leasing input, it’s very rewarding to see Lakeway Commons at capacity, each tenant offering a unique, high-quality service to the community,” praised Grossman.

Club Pilates, owned by Michaela and Jeff Bruce, will open in Lakeway Commons this summer. The Shrewsbury location will provide total body workouts that improve flexibility, strength, balance and posture. Club Pilates Shrewsbury will offer classes that utilize a variety of equipment including EXO chairs, TRX, springboard and Barre. “Lakeway Commons is the perfect place for a Club Pilates studio, alongside Whole Foods and other stores that focus on health and wellness…we are excited to open a Pilates studio in Shrewsbury to develop new jobs in Central Massachusetts focused on delivering a unique mind-body wellness experience,” extolled Bruce.

Michael Tomaiolo, a local Shrewsbury resident, is also opening Atlantic Poké, a “sushi-in-a-bowl” restaurant by July 1st. The restaurant will boast responsible, sustainably-sourced food with all natural, non-GMO proteins and customized housemade sauces. All plastics used at Atlantic Poké will also be biodegradable. “Lakeway Commons is a plaza with great tenants,” said Tomaiolo. “I wanted to take a concept growing in other areas and create something original, but also high quality,” added Tomaiolo.

SkinMD Laser & Cosmetic Group, physician-owned and operated by Dr. Paul Flashner, will also relocate their Worcester office to Shrewsbury Street. The med spa is planning to open in Lakeway Commons by September 1st. “Our customers want the best and this plaza’s tenants cater to that type of person, who strive for wellness and the best version of themselves…we look forward to serving patients in this new location,” elaborated Flashner.
