Waltham — Janitronics Building Services released its 2025 Impact Report, detailing accomplishments and goals in corporate responsibility. 2025 marked a transformative year for the organization, defined by expansion, innovation, and preparation for sustained success. The company’s corporate responsibility performance focuses on four key areas: the natural environment, social environment, ties to the Greater Boston community, and corporate governance.
“At Janitronics, sustainability is at the core of what we do, and we are driven by our employees and empowered by our client partnerships,” said David J. Connolly, Janitronics’ President and COO. “The Impact Report is more than a compilation of our achievements in corporate responsibility — it’s a reflection of our commitment to lasting impact across our company, community, and environment,” Connolly explained.
In 2025, Janitronics built momentum across the organization and affirmed its role as a leader in responsible operations. In a noteworthy accomplishment, the company earned ISSA’s Excellence in Sustainability Award, which recognizes exceptional environmental practices within the cleaning industry.
Janitronics also received the BBJ’s Corporate Citizenship Award for the 13th consecutive year, an honor that highlights Massachusetts companies that donated at least $100,000 in cash to Massachusetts-based nonprofits in the previous year. Other highlights from the company’s 2025 Impact Report include:
- Maintained carbon neutrality for the sixth consecutive year, achieved through the purchase of verified, regionally sourced Renewable Energy Credits and carbon offsets.
- Improved emissions tracking by adopting the ISSA Sustainability Benchmarking and Reporting Platform.

These achievements demonstrate Janitronics’ continued commitment to sustainability and positive community impact, solidifying its reputation as a leader in both environmental stewardship and corporate social responsibility.
At the heart of Janitronics’ progress is the conviction that meaningful change happens through collaboration. The company believes that by investing in its employees, elevating service standards, and prioritizing environmental performance, it can continue to create healthier spaces and long-term value for its clients and communities.
