Hobbs Brook Management Names Schaefer New President, CEO

WALTHAM–Hobbs Brook Management LLC, the commercial property management and development firm have named Samuel M. Schaefer as president and chief executive officer, effective September 3rd.

Schaefer was most recently managing director, global head of property management, leasing and corporate outreach at Tishman Speyer in Boston. He joined Tishman Speyer in 2001 as a property manager and leasing agent. He became a managing director of the company in 2013, holding various roles of increasing responsibility.

Earlier in his career, Schaefer worked in the Chicago area for the John Buck Company, a real estate services company and prior to that with Heitman LLC, a real estate investment management firm. Schaefer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and government from DePauw University, Greencastle, Indiana, USA
