F.W. Webb Company Pays $4.45M for 75,000 SF Auburn Warehouse Via Stubblebine

January 21, 2019
33 Sword Street, Auburn MA

AUBURN–The F.W. Webb Company, a wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, cooling, and industrial products, has purchased 33 Sword Street, a 75,000 square-foot facility situated on 3.04 acres for $4,450,000. David Skinner, David Stubblebine, and James Stubblebine from The Stubblebine Company represented the seller in the transaction. The sale was an “off market” purchase.

The site was the former Imperial Distributors distribution center before Imperial relocated to its current location at 150 Blackstone River Road, Worcester MA in a 325,000 square foot lease transaction also facilitated by Stubblebine in 2016.

F.W. Webb currently has a location at 43 Sword Street in Auburn. The company anticipates opening the new wholesale store on 33 Sword Street by Aug. 31, and a retail kitchen, bath and lighting showroom by the end of the year. F.W. Webb will continue to operate out of 43 Sword Street until the new location is ready.

“Our business has grown and we are moving the location to a larger building to meet the needs of both our F.W. Webb wholesale customers and our retail Frank Webb Home customers,” said Bob Mucciarone, F.W. Webb Chief Operating Officer. “We are excited to expand our presence in the greater Worcester area.” The Stubblebine Company was the exclusive agent representing FW Webb on the sales assignment.
