Columbia Construction Company Expands Team With Five New Hires

NORTH READING—Columbia Construction Company, a construction management firm, recently added five new hires to its team. It welcomed Katy Tassmer as Managing Director of Marketing, Cade Keyes as a Project Superintendent, Ed Hook as a Safety Manager, Erick Emmanuel as an Assistant Project Manager, and Ariana Marconnot as Project Administrator of Columbia’s Interiors Division.

Tassmer joins the company with over 28 years of marketing, communications, and business development experience in the A/E/C industry. As a well-organized leader and manager, Tassmer will develop and implement an overall corporate marketing strategy, while overseeing the marketing team. She will work closely with the firm’s Principals to help guide Columbia’s long-term strategic growth.

As a Project Superintendent with over 10 years of experience, Keyes has diverse project experience that includes healthcare, education, science and technology, and commercial construction projects. With this solid background, he will collaborate with owners, vendors, design teams, and trade partners to build relationships and deliver safe and successful projects.

Hook contributes over 10 years of experience managing job site safety plans and implementing company safety initiatives to Columbia Construction. He currently works on Columbia Construction’s Siemens Healthineer’s project in Walpole, MA.

Emmanuel brings varied experience working with diverse teams to manage construction demolition projects, lab equipment relocations, and infrastructure improvement projects. At Columbia Construction, he works with Project Managers to keep projects on track and open communication between sub-consultants and owners.

As a Project Administrator with Columbia’s Interiors Division, Marconnot works with Project Managers to manage documentation, including owner contracts and subcontractor insurance for various projects.
