BOSTON– CBRE/New England has shared that a seven-year lease totaling 5,000 SF of office space was executed with Camp Harbor View, a non-profit camp for kids from Boston’s under-served neighborhoods. The camp will be relocated to 46 Plympton Street, in the South End. CBRE/NE’s Patrick Buckley and Jeff Landers represented the landlord, Legacy Real Estate Ventures, and Peter Bean of Boston Realty Advisors represented the tenant.

Michael Price, President of Legacy Real Estate Ventures, spoke about the influence Camp Harbor View has on the community. “Camp Harbor View is such a great organization enhancing the lives of so many kids here in Boston, and we are thrilled they chose 46 Plympton,” praised Price.

Camp Harbor View originated from a meeting between Boston Mayor, Thomas M. Menino, and Boston businessman, Jack Connors, in January 2007. The camp opened that very summer at Long Island in Boston Harbor, with an influx of 300 campers, ranging from ages 11-14. Since its inception, the camp now hosts 900 campers per year. The summer camp provides campers with apparel, transportation and three meals a day. In the spirit of having fun, there are a plethora of programs, incorporating aquatics, leadership development, arts, education and fitness. In addition, Camp Harbor View provides children and their families with a year-round community with access to parent programs, counseling, tutoring, after-school teen programs, and more.

46 Plympton Street, a five-story building encompassing 25,000 SF of office space, is located near the South End’s Ink Block apartments and the future development of Exchange South End, the former Boston Flower Exchange site. The five-story building offers 13’ clear height, hardwood floors, an abundance of natural light, bicycle storage and shower facilities. 46 Plympton Street is situated off of Interstates 90 and 93, and is walking distance from the MBTA Silver, Red and Orange Lines. The property is located within proximity to numerous restaurants, hotels, fitness centers, retail, and coffee shops.
