Equity Office Properties Promotes Brenda Haraldstad to VP of Regional Finance

BOSTON—Equity Office Properties recently promoted Brenda Haraldstad to the role of Vice President-Regional Finance. In this role, she will oversee all portfolio financials for the eastern U.S.

Haraldstad has more than twenty years of experience in commercial real estate accounting and finance and has spent fifteen of those years at Equity. For the past six years, she served as Director of Regional Finance and was responsible for the accurate and timely management of the regional finance operations, as well as providing monthly and quarterly analyses.

Her past successes at the company led to her promotion, as the lead staff saw the benefit of her expertise in helping the firm reach its goals. “Over her fifteen years spent growing her career at Equity Office, Brenda has proven to be an integral employee who is a champion of our values,” commented Mark Smith, Managing Director of the Eastern Region at Equity Office Properties. “Her deep understanding of accounting in commercial real estate and her broad range of experience has made her invaluable,” he added.

Haraldstad first joined Equity Office Properties in 2002 as a Senior Property Accountant. She earned her Bachelor of Science in business management from Boston College and is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration at Suffolk University where she is expected to graduate in 2018.
