Summer Hires & Promotions Continue Throughout Region

Ten Promotions at Elkus Manfredi Architects

Elkus Manfredi Architects has promoted several individuals to the positions of Principal and Vice President. Founding Principal, David Manfredi, emphasized the influence of the promotions on the firm. “The promotion of two new Principals and eight new Vice Presidents reflects our growth as a firm and the diversity of our work, our expertise and our ambitions to deliver places and environments that build community ... the individuals we are promoting are valued members of Elkus Manfredi Architects who contribute greatly to our clients’ success,” praised Manfredi.

Promoted to the position of Principal are: Mark Sardegna, AIA, LEED AP, who joined the firm in 2004 and graduated form Syracuse University (Bachelor of Architecture), and Andrew (Andy) West, AIA, who joined Elkus Manfredi Architects in 1996 and is a graduate of Columbia University (MA, Architecture; BA). The two new Principals join David P. Manfredi, CEO and Founding Principal; Elizabeth O. Lowrey, Principal; and John H. Martin, Principal.

Promoted to the position of Vice President are: Susanne Ackermann, who joined Elkus Manfredi in 1994, Ross Cameron, RIBA, RIAS, who joined Elkus Manfredi Architects in 2004, Linda MacLeod Fannon, IIDA, RDI, who joined Elkus Manfredi Architects in 2005, Christian Galvao, who joined Elkus Manfredi Architects in 2004, William (Rob) Halter, AIA, LEED AP, who joined Elkus Manfredi Architects in 2005, Kevin Lennon, AIA, LEED AP, who joined Elkus Manfredi Architects in 1997, Emily Paparella, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, who joined Elkus Manfredi Architects in 2007, and Jane Zimmerman, LEED AP, who joined Elkus Manfredi Architects in 2013.

Stantec Snags Johnson for Science & Tech Sectors

BOSTON– Stantec has hired Doyle Johnson as Principal of Science & Technology. Johnson will focus on leading the Science & Technology group’s strategic business plan to develop the firm’s market throughout the New England region. Johnson joins Stantec with a longstanding record of success in the market, most recently serving in a leadership role at a national engineering and construction firm. During this role, Johnson founded the firm’s Life Sciences Group, effectively managing the group’s growth to 60 people over five years. Johnson’s experience includes managing teams and providing project engagement and oversight; driving the growth of operations and staff; and developing initiatives to support increased industry knowledge. Johnson has also worked for biopharmaceutical institutions in roles focused on operations and facilities management.

Tony Rao, Stantec’s Sector Leader for Science & Technology, elaborated on the firm’s future success with Johnson’s addition. “Doyle’s accomplishments in operations management, client consulting, industry association leadership, and project management will be an asset to the advancement of Stantec’s Science & Technology sector throughout the region… with his knowledge and proven success, I am confident he will provide value and insight to our projects, teams, and clients across the New England,” praised Rao.

Cushman Hires Slew of New Talent

Cushman & Wakefield recently announced the hiring of eight new professionals in its Boston office. In a release, the company stated that the new hires reflect the firm’s on-going commitment to sourcing the best talent to complement its teams and provide exemplary service to clients.

Elizabeth Fangmeyer, Senior Graphic Designer: Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Fangmeyer spent five years as the Senior Graphic Designer for Citizens Bank, where she supported the growth of digital content design.

Kristen Gallo, Senior Financial Analyst: Gallo arrives at Cushman & Wakefield after five years working as an Assurance Senior at Ernst & Young, where she performed audits on a variety of SEC registered companies in the real estate industry.

Wildry Herrera, Senior Lease Auditor. Herrera joins Cushman & Wakefield after spending 13 years at Santander in a variety of positions.

Mary Kensinger, Capital Markets Analyst: A 2018 Boston College graduate, Kensinger gained experience with two internships, one with the Public Strategy Group Inc., and another with Related Beal.

Devin Tringale, Downtown Brokerage Associate: A 2017 Harvard graduate, Tringale comes to Cushman after spending the past year playing professional hockey in France. Tringale previously had an institutional investor services internship at State Street, and another at Buffalo 8, a full-service media company.

Phillip Verre, Suburban Brokerage Associate: A 2018 Boston College graduate, Verre comes to Cushman & Wakefield after working as a Suburban Brokerage intern at Colliers International and a New England Industrial Practice group intern at JLL.

Daniel Wells, General Manager: Wells joins Cushman & Wakefield’s Asset Services team to manage 28 State Street in Boston. He has six years of property management experience and joins the firm from Rockhill Management. Wells was also in the U.S. Army for seven years and served 12 months in combat during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Alec White, Project Manager: White joins Cushman & Wakefield from Chapman Construction after spending five years working as a Project Manager where his responsibilities included bidding of work, qualification of bids, on-site subcontractor coordination, pre-purchase of long-lead items, managing project finances and ensuring projects stayed on schedule and on budget.

Keller Gets Bump to Director at Atlantic National Trust

PORTLAND, ME– Atlantic National Trust has promoted Benjamin Keller to Director of Real Estate/Senior Loan Officer. Keller will serve in this capacity for Atlantic and its affiliated commercial real estate investment, loan servicing, and property management companies. In this new role, Keller will be responsible for the acquisition, management, and sales of Atlantic’s East Coast real estate holdings. Keller will also administer the management and servicing of Atlantic’s loan portfolio by reporting directly to both the President/Founder, Ted West, and CEO, Jim Hanley.

West elaborated on behalf of Keller’s achievement. “Over the past ten years, Ben has demonstrated remarkable leadership and skill in what is a highly complex business, and has done so to record-breaking success…this is a well-deserved promotion that makes our company better, and we congratulate him for his outstanding work,” acknowledged West.

Keller joined Atlantic as an analyst in 2009 from The Debt Exchange in Boston, where he served as a commercial real estate underwriting analyst. Over the past ten years, he has played a central role in Atlantic’s continued growth, first as an analyst, and most recently as a Senior Asset Manager and Loan Officer.
